"Country Gent" Tooth Powder – "Country Gent" Tooth Powder is a pleasant tasting, white powder for use as an alternative to toothpaste.  It does not contain sodium lauryl sulphate or any of it's sisters.  This chemical is in toothpaste and other products to make them sudsy.  It is a detergent.  Just to see what Proctor and Gamble says about the SLS in their tooth paste go to this link.  If I can avoid it, I will.  We have a fluoride version of the tooth powder.  I personally do not use it.  I prefer non-fluoride.  I taste the fluoride.  It has a metallic taste.  It is also controversial.

Tea Tree Oil for Fungus – Tea Tree Oil is naturally antifungal.  It kills fungus.  Our product comes with a glass dropper.  Get the liquid under your nails infected with fungus and see the difference.  Apply it at least 2 times a day.

Tea Tree and Witch Hazel for Acne – Dilute Tea Tree with Witch Hazel and use as a toner when acne problems arise.  Use 3-4 drops of tea tree per ounce of witch hazel.  We have alcohol free witch hazels.  My favorite is the Rose Petal.  It is especially good for sensitive skin.

Tea Tree for Chest Rub – Five drops mixed into a teaspoonful of almond or olive oil makes a useful massage oil and chest rub for chest infections, bronchitis, and asthma.

Witch Hazel:  Witch Hazel can replace the expensive toners you purchase at the cosmetics counters.  (Witch Hazel components are a chief ingredient in those products.)  It has also been a mainstay for centuries in households.  Use it as a mouthwash for bleeding gums, a gargle for sore throats and infections such as tonsillitis and laryngitis, eyewash for sore eyes, and a douche for vaginal discharges.  (Add some tea tree if you are prone to yeast.)  A poultice or compress will relieve burns, inflammatory skin problems, swollen engorged breasts, bed sores, bruises, sprains, and strains, varicose veins and ulcers.  Cooling relief for hemorrhoids.

Breath Freshener: To ¼ cup water add 6 drops of food grade peppermint oil.  Dip your toothbrush into the solution and brush your teeth, tongue and inside your cheeks.   “Country Gent” Peppermint Oil is not only double distilled but also always food grade.  Double distilled means it’s more potent.  Peppermint oil is used in the “Country Gent” Tooth Powder which is a wonderful accompaniment to this breath freshener.

Peppermint Herbal Toner for Normal Skin: To ½ cup of witch hazel, add 4-6 drops of peppermint oil.  Dilute further with ½ cup distilled water.  Cleanse face with cold cream then apply toner with cotton ball.  You can also purchase Rose Petal alcohol free witch hazel from us and let us do the mixing.
